Calendar of Charitable Events

Our goal in compiling the Charitable Events Register is to provide a calendar that highlights charitable events of nonprofit organizations that occur in, and charitably impact, communities in north central Wisconsin. It helps organizations to determine optimal, productive time frames for scheduling their fundraising events and provides an overview for potential donors and attendees to schedule their social calendars and charitable gift giving. These are not foundations administered within the Community Foundation – they are separate organizations with their own funding guidelines. United Way's LIFE in Marathon County Study

The LIFE in Marathon County 2007-2009 Report was released by the United Way of Marathon County on January 10, 2008. Funded in part with a grant from the Community Foundation's Wausau·Marathon County Fund, the report highlights community strengths and challenges and lists 14 community priorities to improve our quality of life.
